I have to say, driving, it took my breath away. This tremendous structure just sitting in the middle of a field, with sheep nearby (this is pretty much a constant in England, sheep are always nearby -- at night we even hear annoyed cows). Well, we had to get out and walk around this paleolithic monstrosity which is also one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world.Closer to home we discovered an equally ancient yet not so impressive bunch of rocks, the rollright stones.

Kim, however, was distracted by a shiny object...

and I had stone envy...

Hi Kim and Jesse,
I've been trying to get in touch wiht you via HHCDS when it dawned on me that perhaps you are not there anymore. Anyway, Helen Barnstable passed along your blog address and I've had fun reading through some of it. It sounds like you guys are having a great time. I'd love to write more -- do you have email addresses? Hope to here from you soon. All best,
Sloan
SLOAN!!!!
OMG - It's great to hear from you!!! Yes - we do have an e-mail address, it's raccios@gmail.com! Send us your e-mail. We KNOW you're having lots of amazing adventures in ParentLand yourself, and we'd love to hear about that too! (I hope you read this... because we lost your e-mail address when we lost our HHCDS accounts!)
:)
